This was one of our our favorite campgrounds on our 7-day trip around the peninsula. Our site was private and level, had a cute picnic table with an umbrella. Although there are limited facilities, the port-a-potties were EXTREMELY clean and the dishwashing station was a nice touch. Easy driving to many great locations in the National Forest and National Park.

Beautiful , clean , quiet! Owners are so nice and place is well kept. Our site #17 was so perfect loved sleeping to sound of river. Has picnic table and fire pit as well as communal potty with clean toilets and open sink. Would stay here again.

What a treasure! We stayed at peak season in middle July. The campground was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. As you will see from other reviews, Rachel and Don have poured their hearts and souls into this place. The campground is clean, tables and large shade umbrellas are all new. Porta Potties are ample and close to sites (without being too close!). Dish washing stations are handy as well. Note that there is no electricity and potable water is available nearby but not right in the campground.Don saved the day for us when we were prepared to leave but our car battery had died. He gave us a jump and sent us off with a smile.Highly recommend!

Just stayed at Dawleys in May and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! The sites are large and decently separated, the porta potty was one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and our dog had a blast in the neighboring fields and in the river. Will definitely be coming back!

I stayed here the past weekend with a whole bunch of my friend and it was so beautiful and they were really friendly and open to big groups. And the camp sites were right on the river and it was gorgeous. They had a open field that you could set up volleyball, and a fish hatchery that had some HUGE fish! There was a nice walk down to the river and you could lay on the beach and skip rock or fish. And the people who own this campground were so sweet and friendly. And have the cutest dog ever! I even got to see deer running through the campground:) This campground is also about a 15 minute from the town forks and there’s a really beautiful lake 10 minutes out from the place as well. So it’s located around things to go do. The campgrounds had tables, umbrellas for over the table, fire pits, different types of cooking grills for over the fire, and a lot of space. The campground also has areas to wash your dishes and buy firewood if you ever ran out or just didn’t bring any. I’d highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area or want to get away for the weekend.

Beautiful campground! Rachel and Don were incredibly kind and helpful. You can tell they put a lot of effort into creating a wonderful stay. Porta-potties were very clean and fully stocked with hand sanitizer. Our campsite had a fire pit, grill, and picnic table. We had an amazing view facing the river. At night small lights turn on, illuminating the main path and the route to the bathrooms. We were having issues with our van and feeling very stressed and anxious, but settling into this campsite and talking with Rachel and Don really put us at ease and we felt at home. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever pass through again!
